Hey y’all, me and my ace Grandtheft got together a few years ago in a hotel room in Vancouver and started talking about doing a record together. After some quick sketchpad ideas there, I flew up to Toronto a little while later and we worked on it in the studio and we came up with this cool record. Newsflash – The Nerds won. It’s not a mystery nor should it be that, while us nerdy guys in high school were being overlooked by the girls and being terrorized by the jocks and the cool kids, we were secretly plotting to take over the world… Okay, that all may be hyperbole (key words “may be”) but truth be told I am a nerd and I am proud of it.
