Here’s a Spotify playlist I created showcasing some hot jazz tunes from some of my favorite women jazz musicians. This whole project came about from when just last week, I went to put on some curated jazz playlists while doing some chores and I noticed a glaring lack of representation from women artists. Representation matters and, since it seemed like nobody else was gonna do it, I took it upon myself to make it. I hope you enjoy!
Another new mix: I had the privilege of putting together a new mix for Radio L’envie – an excellent program that highlights curation featuring selections by too many talented luminaries to note. For my installment I chose a group of rare disco 12” singles from my collection that I love and thought should get more exposure. Always happy to share great music with the people!
