DJs Against Climate Change

For the past several years my friend and colleague and all-around great guy Sammy Bananas has spearheaded the DJs Against Climate Change movement. This is a grass roots effort by us working DJs to help offset our annual carbon footprint that we accrue by traveling to all corners of the earth. Most people would overlook this tiny yet enormous aspects of our work-life but Sam, being the socially conscious ubermensch he is, came up with the idea for us pitch in and do our part. But instead of me being all verbose about this, let’s hear it from the man himself.

I fully support everyone who has an opportunity to help make a difference to do so. This is a real and an important issue and it’s up to all of us to do out part so that we can continue to work the way that we do without reprehensible and irreversible consequences to our planet. Help Save Style Wars

“NEVER FORGIVE ACTION…”

THE touchstone of classic contemporary graffiti documentation is in peril. Style Wars, the greatest film on graffiti that has ever been produced, is in jeopardy for its life, with the original negatives of the film having reached a critical point of deterioration from shoddy storage and the effects of time. But efforts are underway to raise funds to save the film for future generations so that they can learn about this revolutionary time in New York City. Public Art Films has taken the helm to create a HD version of the film from the original print 16mm print. This is a labor of love, and for something that I love so very much.
